It's got to be said you love the track lol lovely car mate get the bug and start modding lol
I love it, it's an expensive hobby though. Always tried to hold back from modding it. I did have coilovers for a week, it looked smart but thought the handling was **** so went back to standard.
love these in yellow! got a bit of a track bug have we, do u go through a set of tyres every track day? ever had any problems with cooking brakes etc?
Had it for a few years now since i first went on a day at Croft in my saxo.
Seems ok on the tyres, used to just go on with my road tyres and they would last a good few 1000 miles and a fair few track days
Onto my third set of road tyres, i sold the first set when i got the car as it had some Yoko Eco's on from Japan. Then went to Hank V12s or something like that, just a normal road tyre. Used to track it on those haha then went to some Hankook RS2's which tbh i am not that impressed with anymore, they were great when new.
Got some UK DC2 wheels with R888s on, took them to the ring. I didnt have the pressures right on the front so the middles are fairly worn
but should even out over time i am hoping. Outers have lasted ages and the rears still look new. Did another track day or two on them once i got back from the ring.
Never had a problem with cooking the brakes. I use EBC Yellowstuff pads with standard disc's along with ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid. I would say i brake fairly hard and late. Still no real issues. The brake stopper certainly helps with pedal feel.
Just spent the day cleaning the inside and outside of the car, well impressed with the paint job on the bonnet and the rest of the cars polish job. Will get my new OEM honda badges this week and take some photos
