it's always good to come on here and see other car's being used to their full potential! looks pukka!
 
Another great video, kept really tight to apex's, glad you took that golf near the end he should of let you threw before. You were as quick or if not quicker than that Evo through the corners, he just had the legs on the straights. :nice:

Yeah, he came over in the car park not long after that. Spot on guy, he was a bit gutted to find out it was just a 1.6 lol he went and bought new yoko ad048s after that laps :win:

I have another video to upload, its my mates EP3 driving, but I am in front, again catch that golf, just doesn't let me by at all, blocking me all the time.

Although it may not look it, alot of time is lost when caught behind someone like that. Always compensating for what the car in front is going to do, are they going to brake/turn etc etc.
Never got a clear lap in all weekend to see what she could do.

i said yay out loud when you over took the golf :) thinks he was faster than you thats why he didnt let you past

Heres the footage from a lap the following day, I tried to get out before the golf but failed. The video gives you a good idea on how much he holds me up in bends as my mate in th EP3 starts gaining on us again.

The sound is slightly out.

Ha I bet he was gutted when he found out that. Ye I can imagine it is frustrating getting stuck behind cars like that all the time. Saw the vid with the EP3 and you can tell even more how much that Golf holds you back. Your EK9 goes really well though. Whats the specs on it?

I can be fairly patient when stuck behind cars. I didn't want to lunge through on the Golf after the previous day where he turns in harshly on me. I only got passed him as he out braked him self and slid off the racing line.

Only mods are spoon n1 catback, and had r888s on. Thats it :woot:

Your EK9 does look quick :nice: Do you have more videos of your car from the outside? What camera mount are you using?

Sweet, it sounds alot more aggressive than the EP3, the standard suspension setup on EK9's must be really good then :cool:

I am not sure, think there maybe one or two. I know my mate (Beardy) has a few of his DC5 on track with me going past. Just need to convert them all and watch them :wow:

It was a decent mount, had three suctions on it and stuck to the back window, then just a bolt to screw the camera on. Again it was Beardys gear and HD camera.

Yeah, I only drove that EP3 briefly. The EP3 is alot quicker in a straight line especially with the K-pro. But the EK9 feels alot more hardcore/raw.

I was thinking about selling it, but after being to Germany its staying.
I did have BC racing coilovers, for litterally a week 8kg Front and 5kg Rear. But i find the standard suspension much better.
 
If anyone knows of a cheapish but decent carbon fibre bonnet going let me know. Obviously needs to be a facelift and without vents :D
