Basically fully electric seats with elec lumbar support and hard backed plastic seats.

Description:

The Adaptive Sport Seats give you all of the sporty feel of the Leather Sport Seats, all of the features of the Power Seats plus electronic control of the bolsters.

Features include:

Lumbar support, bottom, side and shoulder bolsters are pneumatically adjustable
Electric adjustment of fore/aft position, seat height, seat bottom angle, seat back angle.
Memory for seat and exterior mirror positions (bolster and lumbar settings can not be memorized)
Right side park assist mirror when in reverse
Seat backs are finished in a Volcano Gray hard shell

Benefits: These seats provide the best of both worlds, maximum sport and maximum luxury with near infinite adjustment abilities. These are the only seats available with adjustable bolsters, which may likely make them the choice for demanding drivers. The ultimate adjustability and memory functions make these a great pick for Caymans that are routinely driven by more than one person.

Nice! I assumed it would be bullshit but they sound pretty good, heavy, but good!

it is nice to drive? like you're having fun with s?

It's epic to drive, not as raw as the S2000 but more capable.
It feels much more special than the s2000, with much more power and torque that makes it more usable.

I'd say it's some where between my M3 and the S2000.
The poise, fun and accuracy of the s2000 with sense of occasion and grunt of the M3.
It's also got the 'badge' factor too, the amount of people that have said 'wow you've got a porsche' is mad. To think people spend more on new poverty spec audi's and bmw's and no body takes a second look!

I seen one of these at the Albert Docks on Saturday, looked really nice don't see many about.

Some more pics,

And a pic of the civic next to the cayman

Excuse the crappy driveway, just waiting for nicer weather to get it done!

I've ordered some cree reg plate, fog light/home and sidelight bulbs so looking forward to getting them, gives it that crisp modern touch :)

Update on the cayman front, I found some parts for a good price I wasn't quite planning on getting these yet. Obviously, I thought I'd best just buy them as knowing my luck when I want them in a few months I won't be able to find them at this price again.

It's quite known that the cayman s had its intake restricted to stop it out performing the more more expensive 911, they also refused to fit a LSD until the cayman R came out.
So by doing a very simple install of the following parts utilising a genuine porsche throttle body, and a remapped Ecu the power gains are pretty impressive. Power is upped to around 340-350bhp (295bhp standard) and torque is upped from 245 ftlbs to 300 ftlbs.

The parts are as follows:

-IDP intake plenum

-GT3 82mm throttle body

-BMC air filter

-Silicon induction pipe

I'm looking at using softronic to remap the Ecu as I've heard good things from the research I've done.

I've also replaced a few bulbs for cree Led white bulbs, still waiting for some to arrive so I'll pop up pics when they are all done :)

What a nice car, great spec on it! Crazy how much they restricted it really. Guess its good for you though as its pretty easy to extract all that power back!

So all cree led bulbs now fitted.

Fog/home bulbs

Reg plate bulbs

Side light bulbs

Tax disc holer I found in the glovebox, so figured it was better than the crappy one the dealer had fitted

The wheel bolts were all rusted too, so gave painting them a try, if they go rusty again really soon I'll buy new ones! Worth a try though.

Before

Bolts rusty

Quick paint

Much better

Also got some of these to protect the carbon ceramic discs and shiney calipers!

My mate Lee took a few pics of the car with his camera so I thought I'd post them up on here :)
Comments welcome

Well fitted the gt3 throttle body, ipd plenum, intake pipe and bmc air filter yesterday. I also remapped the Ecu so it feels much better now with a definite power increase. I'm going to de snork it next to allow for better airflow, then I'll be on the exhaust hunt :)

Once I'd done the remap Ecu, I went for a blast around the evo triangle, it's a seriously well sorted and capable car and really shines on roads like those!

Didn't get a chance for any pics but I'll see if lee got any and post them up if so.

Thanks :)

Lee got a few pics of the blast around evo triangle so I've added them as I said I would!
