Spoon blue ek9, work in progress

I didn't paint it, it seems it came from Japan like that, but thanks.

689r, see, YOU understand :)

It should be fun, that's for sure!!! Aye, they not the cheapest, however, by FAR the best value for money as this kind of work and reliability can't be found anywhere else in europe., never mind the contacts and knowledge!! Like I said earlier, I'm extremely lucky to have such good and talented friends. :)

Lee, when i said i need a heap of cash, i meant to have a new project with a RDNA touch. Not meaning they are pricey, like you've allready said No one else can acheive what they do. When i broke my EK4, i had people email me about the B18 asking if i could tell them exact spec of the engine and internals, how do you answer that. Again like you said, If you don't know then it aint happening.

I just clicked who you are!! You're THAT Keith! Fab to know :)
I didn't mean to come over arsey, matey, so apologies if I did. And you are another one of fhe few who know exactly what I mean, especially the bit about "intellectual property rights" and why there won't be many pics of the build.....

Lee, you didn't sound arsey at all. Race DNA is actually great value, there years of development and know how. You can't ever pay for that, i am searching for my next project, and hopefully give it some RDNA .

What do you fancy? :)

I actually have two CL9 Accords at the moment, one's the missus family wagon and the other is my small project, i have a cam and Flashpro for it. Got to see Pez for a Mapping session.

But i need a serious mota again, maybe S2000 or DC5. I'm quite fond of Yellow EK9's at the moment. We will be getting rid of the missus Type S and get something newer, maybe CRV or 8th Gen Accord.

I've looked at other Brands but i love the Honda.

I spoke to Pez about a k24 accord type s, not an agile thing, but could have jad fun with it... Dc5 has never been on my wish list, but I believe they can be mase to feel like a dc2, and we all know that k20 is a good start point for fettling :)

Lol. As ever, those that don't know, just don't know ;-) Ever wondered where a certain "copying" uk firm got a lot of their manifold design from?

And thanks :)

If RaceDNA are not telling you the spec then that's a different story, but im sure you would like to know the spec of your build.

All this keep secret stuff is fine, but I've always be one to share. I mean "copying" wow big deal, we have Civic EK9's, hardly state of the art. Simple mechanics and simple engineering.

I invested 30K building my ATR Turbo, and posted everything step by step online, people used my build and all the issues i had and custom work and benefited from it. Hey a tuner is now building there own and there spec looks exactly like mine. Do i care, no. That's the whole idea of the car scene imo. We are all here to help each other out.

They got a business to run and, as a few have said, no-one else can do this kind of work as there's a lot of "tricks" etc that they have invested enormous amounts of time, effort and money into.

I have a fair idea of what they're doing, and tbh, I won't know why unless explained in depth. I did post a general outline of what's happening, except last night I decided that cams and the matching bits would be a goer...... Should be "fun" and it's probably gonna scare and amaze me in equal measure!!

looking forward to seeing the finished article... :nice:

Cheers chaps! Its going to be a while as there's so much work to do. And I may have added a touch of bling to it.....
Arc, how you finding the JCW?
