I know what you mean - all American cars say whp but sound more like flywheel output !
 
It's a recent build on here. I'd find it but I'm at work, he was having issues because the boost pipes where too small.
Rather large turbo.
Not trying to knock your build or anything, it's epic! Just didn't want you to be disappointed when you get it tuned and it's 300-320hp. Instead of ATW
 
haha Jesse lad I know you aint knocking nothing lol. I'm not chasing numbers anyway, lets see what happens. 320bhp is more than enough for a little b16 tin can :nice:
 
Oh yes. Mines pretty quick so can only imagine a good 30-40hp on top!
 
Because I'm like a little school girl right now and waiting on parts/money I'll just leave this little teaser here. This is what I'm reduced to, piecing together my kit and hanging it from a drawer to look at.

Test fitting everything.

Needs power steering bracket shaving half an inch.
Holes cutting for intercooler piping in plastic (expected)
Little worried about screamer pipe melting everything!
All fits spot on!

Looking good,
any room for a thicker radiator should you need one? Looks pretty tight to the wastegate but might be the angle.

Going to be using a half rad like the skunk2 Alpha or BWR.

Few things to work out still.

Power steering bracket now clears manifold, just needs refitting.

  • Oil Sandwich plate etc for lines.
  • Vacuum lines for wastegate and bov
  • Bigger silicon hose for throttle body
  • Mount intercooler
  • Figure out either a mesh or filter for turbo
  • Sump return/Baffle
  • Wideband
  • Boost Gauge

Looking good Ryan!! Getting there slowly but surely, on a positive note it looks like ur doing things exactly how u want without cutting corners so waiting for this to be finished!

I'd go filter on the turbo. Mesh just doesn't seem safe in a road car.
