Im lookin forward to seeing these results!!
because he is not that far from being on ok AFR-wise.
with a timing light you should be able to check it. try to check it or have it checked. sometimes, an off base timing will produce low power. goodluck
Im lookin forward to seeing these results!!
he was expecting your car to make 195bhp? am I the only thinking that is a bit excessive, maybe 185bhp
Why do people think these engines lose power :s
properly serviced bseries should be pretty much as strong as it ever was.

EXACTLY!! A standard well serviced b-series engine should make standard power at least. Unless it has 200k miles then you would expect it to loose a few horses.
I think that either there are a few dynos that give inaccurate low figures or else the engines have not been serviced and taken too much abuse
My b16b with only a dc manifold made 187bhp and on the same day another b16b ek9 made 171bhp with manifold and cat-back so I put that down to a badly looked after engine
A badly designed exhaust and 2" silencer would have surely affected your results, look forward to seeing the difference after
Glad to here the good news
Glad to here youve sorted your problems dude! i had my 9 dynoed down at eightspeed last week and made 192bhp with 67500 miles on the clock but ran lean at the top and was well maintained by the previous owner as well as me . although the only modifications i have is a spoon n1 back box, decat, ebay induction uprated ht leads and spark plugs, as well as a aem full rail and a vafc2 installed and tweeked. But as it ran lean at top end mark tweeked the afr and made 189.2bhp and 122ft/lb of torque but now runs as sweet as a nut as well as the vtec being dropped down to 4900rpm. so was extremely pleased with the results.
Good stuff mate, will be good to see the figures now
No problem but you shoulda gone there the first time round! haha

No not really bud when it ran the dyno run, over 8 runs the best place to put the vtec point was at 4900rpm with the current spec as if it was above this point it would run slightly lean But mark at eightspeed said once I've got a few more modification such a tegiwa manifold , uprated b pipe as well as a skunk 2 inlet and throttle body as well as cams then the vtec point could be shifted!
@Ramboteamjon, exhaust looks good
