yea the AFR should be at about 14 for normal but its gona get a map soon so Henry will see to that!

as for the exhaust comment, the last few pics of i have posted ARE of the exhaust sorted!

Good news at last lads!! :)

Took my 9 back to Henry on Tue past to find out why the heck my bhp was down at 173!:( he phoned me back 3 hours later to tell me that it was the way my DC2 airbox was set up, my 63mm cold airfeed to it was WAY too small! I was so glad it was something simple so he went ahead and adjusted the tapets, checked the spark plug gaps, put it on the diagnostics, etc, fitted a brand new Top Fuel carbon fibre induction kit that I got courtesy of Funky Power and put it on the dyno and it made a sweet 193bhp!! :) I was over the moon!!

I just told him to go ahead and tune it while it was there so he phoned me the next day and said it was all tuned using a P30 ecu with full knock board using crome! It made 206bhp and 133lb ft torque!! I was absolutly shocked as I didnt know those figures were capable from a B16B with stock internals! Picked it up today and to say its fast is an understatement!!! It pulls hard as **** in vtec from 5.1k right up to 9.2k!!! I have 25whp extra in the midrange! it drives amazing, is so responsive and sounds immense! :)

Sorry the picture is poor. you can see the top 2 lines are the 193bhp run and the bottom lines are after it was tuned! :)

Thank you to everyone who gave me help and opinions! I am glad its all sorted and I can enjoy my 9 again! Henry is the man! If anyone wants his details let me know! :) it just shows how important your airbox/airfilter/cold air feed is so investigate before you fit something! :)

My 9 is the lightweight addition too and is fully stripped out, goes like stink now!:)

ps. only downer of the day was one of my fog lamps smashed as a stone must have hit it so if anyone has a spare JDM amber fog lamp for a pre-facelift 9 let me know please!! :)

pss. could I sell my original ecu (is it a PCT ecu?) ? how much is it worth anyone please? :)

Edit: I had a pre-facelift ECU for sale for agggges, still have it somewhere. £50 -£100 is a fair price.

Thanks man, yea it defo feels like christmas at 5 years old again! :) lol

Nice results but IMHO i'd take that peak figure with a pinch of salt, get on a dyno dynamics for a power run and you will no what I mean;) Nevertheless before and after gains is whats important and looking at that graph there has been considerable gains made. Bet your loving that extra power around midrange:nice:
 
Very good figures after remap and I bet you are chuffed!! The car is now making the sort of power it should be making and there is no need for a b18c:clap:

Thanks mate, I know exactly what you mean about the peak figure but Henrys dyno has been spot on and accurate for everyone I have spoken to!:dance: Exactly mate, the graph looks perfect now, power gains are excellent, starts and drives way better and extra midrange power is Sweet!:D

Thanks dude! Exactly no need for a B18c or stroker kit, etc am makin ace power in ma wee 16 and it sounds great!

Yea the 4.9 FD is ace but not so ace on motorway, 82mph in 5th gear is vtec now at 5.1k revs!!! lol:wow:
