good man ill let you know if ive any updates too.Me too-i've also cleaned the Idle Control Valve in case that it was blocked which it wasn't but since i was at it i thought i may aswell.
A compression test was advised to me by a former mechanic but i have no clue how to go about that

i had the same problem and it was the dizzie as said above once i changed it started first time and a oem dizzie is 500 new are u sure it wasent the cap u replace lol
There seems to be a rash of this type of issue popping up as of late.
1-check to see if injectors are working properly, also look for loose connections.
2-check ECU...could be fried
3-check GROUND wires
Had one come into the garage one day with an intermittent misfire, then total failure to run. The loom to the distributor was grounding out on the block - check for white marks that indicate arcing.
