P30 ecu

sorry guys but im new so i have a lot of questions and i truly look for answers my self but i dont want to screw it up, what is and where does a p30 ecu come from?, i ordered a b16b swap and thats what ecu i got, is it ok?, or what should i be using?

AFAIK thats a ecu from a eg SIR civic which has a b16a engine not b16b
 
I imagine you would loose performance and it wouldn't allow you to rev as high as the b16b should on its proper ecu and vtec engagement would be earlier so you might get a dip in power till after 6k when it does engage
 
you are right!, i dont feel real power till about 6 to7 rpms, should i swith ecu and to what?
 
Its some thing like "PCT-J11" wrote on the EK9 b16b ecu, they can be got off ebay or depending on your location JapPerformanceparts.co.uk in the UK should have one available
