* I used a shultz gun to apply it.
* Its been on the car now just over a month but i havent actually driven the car yet, only to and from my workplace when the work was getting done. Its still tacky now. I dont think its meant to 'set' as it creeps and repairs itself when stones etc hit it off the road.

its supposed to be tacky.if it was a hard shell, stone chips would chip off parts of it.
mine seems to be holding up fine so far.

Credit to you Jordan and all others who do undersealing as a part/full time job. I didn't mind it too much because it was my car and you tend to be like that with your own motor lol but to do it as a living......

No Thanks lol.

haha tell me about it mate i do on average one a week and between vintage cars that are double the size of modern day it makes it quite a challenege haha

Just a little update. Finally got around to waxoyling the inside rear quaters. I bought 4x 400ml clear waxoyl cans thinking it would be over kill but that wasnt the case, i only just managed to get decent coverage with it, and got a little light headed while doing it lol :p

For some reason the camera makes it look like theres not alot of waxoyl in some areas but trust me theres alot there haha.

Just got to do the inside of the doors now and im complete with the undersealing for now. But the best news is ill be insured tomorrow and i cant bloody wait to drive it :))

Looking good mate ;) and get some pics once you insured :nice:

Final update on the undersealing side of things (i think). Finally got around to waxoyling the inside of the doors. Just two pictures, as i forgot to take pictures of the drivers door and i built it back up, nothing you haven't seen before.

On a side note, that stuff that holds the soundproofing on is SO sticky. If you havent done it and plan to do so, wear some disposible gloves as its horrible stuff once its on your hands (and clothes for me) :angry2: :p

That car is insanely clean, good to see your preserving it and such a good job at that. Well done :nice:, This is how I need to do mine before it hits shitty UK roads for the first time.

You really did not leave anything to chance, fair play for doing a thorough job like that.

I was too lazy and got someone else to do mine!

good job, i have done the exact same as you inside and out and its well worth it! I kno what you mean about the light headedness, I couldnt drive my car for a week after I done it till the reek was gone! lol

Kipper, Sandycheeks - Thanks, I unfortunately have to drive it through winter, but it's so reassuring to know it's got that bit more protection for when the dreaded gritters hit the roads.

Ramboteamjon - haha, it's so true, the smell from when i did the rear quarters had just about gone and now I've now got to go through another few weeks of it reeking of stuff again lol.
