thanks lads

was meaning to get over for a chat with ya but you were on track when i saw the car and when you were off track you were parked out the back

im definitely bitten by the track bug so put me down for kirki when you organize it

only got 2 vids of me in the morning were i was basically trying to learn the course and figure out the racing line and braking points

ill try get something fired up

havent updated this in a while but i fitted the coilovers and got myself a few new parts

Toda V2 manifold heatwrapped
FWin alu rad
blue samco hoses

also refurbed the rocker cover and sprayed the calipers the same blue

also fitted a rear lower Cusco brace that i have no pics to hand off.


here is the cuscos maxed out as low as they will go and im very happy as its low enough to be practical and still look good and car feels a lot better in the bends now :)

savage ek, love them in that colour. nice mods too id say itl be a lot better round the track with the cuscos now

to be honest the DC sports felt like it made more power but id say its just because the toda makes a lot more mid range power which makes the powerband a lot smoother by design. the DC sports 4-1 is only really good for power at the top of the revs but the car has a lot more low down power with the toda and makes the car a lot easier to drive around town

also the toda 4-2-1 manifold was easily half the weight of the DC sports 4-1, was quite shocked by the weight difference

cant see me doing any more trackdays in the car for a while with college starting again now in september....college fee's FTL :angry2:
 
Have you had a run with anyone before and after to see if it makes a difference on the road ?

It's looking class now with the coilovers in
 
I know the feeling.... Uni in september and the Ek stays in the garage. Hate it.

yea took it straight out for a run after i let the engine heat up and checking for leaks etc....the DC sports gave the engine a big boost of power around 6000 but the toda gives more power before and probably after giving smoother power hence why the DC sports felt quicker....

it sits perfect and handles very well now

Yeah but what I'm saying is have you raced anyone with it fitted that you had raced before it was on ? ..
 
nah never raced anyone before and after cause ive already beat all the 1600 ive raced
