thanks for all the encouragement guys buts it having a adverse effect on my bank account loz

ive my mind set on the black wheels with new blue decals around the rims and the gram lights logo along with spraying the calipers cusco blue to match....also thinking on giving the rocker cover a fresh lick of the same cusco blue to tie in with the brakes

the gold is a nice change but i feel black wheels makes the colour stand out from black or navy civics...has a real twang of purple when the light hits her and the gold distracts the eye too much i think

im not a massive fan of black wheels but im going to the Kanjo midnight sexy murder look....something a bit original haha

anyways mhore parts

picked up a set of Greddy gauges

water temp
oil temp
oil pressure
came with
Greddy sandwich plate
Greddy water adaptor

also picked up a thermal intake gasket

and stripped out the aircon.....

13kg for the pump/rad/lines to bulkhead which i think is well worth the big hole in the ozone for more goes :vtec:

i also pulled the fog lights off and used a bit of piping to feed cold air into the comptech intake stack in behind the splash gaurd

work surprisingly well

and i ghetto tilted the rear of the bonnet

pics of that soon as its too dark at the minute

got a lot of parts on the car yesterday and today

got the Greddy gauges fitted and a pivot speed speed meter delimiter down infront of the ciggy lighter

also got the timing belt changed and took delivery of a nice new set of AD08 Advans and a set of front EBC yellow stuffs for the trackday on friday

also fitted the LSD box and Type R driveshafts and done a quick oil change on both gearbag and engine oil with a hamp filter

quick little pic of the air feed i have to feed the comptech stack....its a bit small so going to make some sort of deflection plate to channel air into the inner wing

also just after getting my decat modified and fitted back on

here is the cat i was using for the past few monthes along with a 5zigen exhaust spacer

yea i was but i got a LSD S4C full box and threw it in...for the money i got for the box i could sell my old box and break even

yea ill be taking it to wherever i can get...you planning on going tracking/dragging the ek9

with me mcrabbe and jason and marty there would be a good wee squad to head up to have the crack

i havent had a chance to get heat into them but they seem good so far with what little driving ive done one them....but if your after something grippy 888's are still the way to go

Those pivot things a good job? Was looking at getting one a while ago and went off the idea, like the sound of the distance/time readings, Get to Kirkistown on the 14th of April at least, My SiR and dads DC2 will be there. Should make for a fun day if we get another few Honda's gathered up.

my ek9 is no good anymore as a daily so she'll be coming off the road in the next week id say and ill just do the odd track day or drag racing with it, ive put to much money into it to sell it, is David going on friday as well?

If you have any passenger laps going give us a shout, id love to see the difference between an s4c and an s4c with LSD, thats going to be my next mod to my my own SiR, is there much difference between the ratios in the S4C and say an S80?

the s80 and s4c have the same ratios...im surpirsed you dont have an LSD box in your car seeing as you track it....the LSD really helps the car to pull the car onto the apex of the corner

i see civics without lsd boxs tend to wash out on the last corner before the pit straight and on the second corner were there is a gradient changes

id be happy to give you a run

need to get a few things sorted yet before i go

my passo inner tie rod is wanked so going to fit new inner rods and outer ends on both sides and get the tracking done before i get the tracking done


also got to fit the yellow stuffs and get them broke in and figure out what im going to use on the back brake

yea i only bought it to get rid of the 180kph restrictor, it measures G forces and 0-400m times and that stuff but im not really interested in that stuff

tedman is back in july i think so we should all gather up for kirki around that time and have a bit of fun

nah david is not going to this trackday its only limited numbers and was filled up within a few days...its a charity trackday that is being run by a lad on DTDIRL
