so this week has been exciting.

on the way are

headlights,
fuel pump (walbro)
second set of harness eye bolts.
spoon rad cap.
d2 LCA's.
massively chavvy but don't care, single wiper conversion.
and some honda jazz spray nozzles :)
 
got some uber updates coming and some pretty funny pictures of some seriously hood modifications!

followed this car today in mine....its very fast, faster than mine easily!!! especially with a b16a1...good job dude you clearly know what you are doing :)

updates:

car hit the road on tuesday properly great to drive good to be driving a honda again.

headlights arrived and were ek9'd instantly, then it was a case of new bulbs and a bolt check

Love that steering wheel !!! I'm sure i've seen that rocker cover before ?? hmm.. looks great without the cover over the cam gears :cool: .. Looking good dude, like the edition of the Fat Boy socks lol. Coming together nicely now mate :nice: they EP3 recaro's ???

I really like the open cam pulleys but surely its not a sensible idea? Looking good mate :)

yea i posted a pic of the rocker when i got it mate :) the fat boy socks were 3 quid, none of this 30 quid crap!

oh and no ep3 recaros are kinda wanky they are cheaper versions of thse which are dc5 recaros. the ep3 ones the bolters arent as big and dont have support on the arse side bolsters, these are comfy as fook and really hold you in.

why is it not a good idea, loads of people run them open, i'll let you know if it shreds my belt.

its getting there, plenty of cosmetic stuff needs done! and a nice 4 wheel alignment.

Nice i might keep my eye open for some DC5 ones then, they look great.

ah no i meant i had seen it before. like before you originally posted it ? do you know where wazer got it from ? Sure i saw it on this site..

I digress, it looks Sh!t hot .. you going EK9 spolier or Ej9 tilted or going mad with a Bomex or something.. lol

any mod's to the engine planned. ?? questions questions... sorry mate

na keep the questions coming buddy i don't mind. these dc5s were about 600 quid for me mates rates, so they are worth the cash, but if u see both types of seats u can see why they are better, basically just a new ek9 recaro :)

ahh yes sorry! yea u know that marc ee9 that had the 'arguement' with michael, apparently its him that makes them so give him a shout.

i'm going to go spoon carbon spoiler mate, aloong with wazers ek9 spoiler, simply because having the choice is fun and ill swap and change all the time i think :)

engine wise i may keep to myself, simply because once its ready something a bit pokier will be under the bonnet ;) but for the moment the b16 a will do and its still not bad for pretty standard. its got a fujitsibo legalis r which sounds great, and is lovely and quiet, almost oem for around town and motorway driving, i may post a video because i hate the constant drone of n1's spec2's etc etc. its got an ek9 box, and a ogura clutch under there so for now engine wise i'm pretty happy :)

Oooooo exciting stuff about then engine. B16's a re good man, my 16B is stock apart from a whale c0ck intake and i love it, its fine for now, i want to wait till i get really Bored of it then mod it ;)

yeah get a video up always liked the look of the legalis R but never heard it.. i use my 9 daily so when it comes to exhaust's i'm gonna be picky this time round.
this gonna be your daily or is it just for kicks at the weekend and summer sort of car.. which ever its a cool car.

yea it is pricey but then i got them in goodish nick off my mate, all the marks on them i had put on them from oily hands anyway :p

yea it'll look better once its all been cleaned up better and all sealed off! arch liner incident while filling it up for its first tank of fuel means spray is getting in :p

haha i like both of them, the spoon carbon one looks great on the y56, lad in america in fast car made me want one! ill get a linky.

aye b16s are absolutely bullet proof! makes me not want to go b18.

ill get a video of it when i'm next out mate but its lovely and quiet, and when u cain it it sounds great :)

this is a daily/weekender. i want it to be reliable and quick basically, but im not going balls out ridiculous, want this to be a car i can still go for a wee drive and be comfy, but yet when i want to track/gun it be nice and nippy.
 
belt isnt shredded atall for info :) as long as all of your arch liners and base of the buper is in stones shouldnt get up there.
 
Your motor looked great earlier mate, even my mrs said she likes an that's a rareity especially when it stripped out likes yours. Good work
