THe title is supposed to be valuation not validation, bloody iPhone.

Earier on this year I bought Fry's old EK9 (used to be D2Tex before that)
The motor was a built b18 when Fry bought the car.

The motor started knocking and fry decided to break the car instead of fixing the motor.

The main things were sold like the 5 stud conversion and brakes. Bonnet, wings, mirrors, spoiler, wheels, exhaust bumpers clocks etc

That was as far as he got breaking it, the car sat for a while and through a friend I heard about it as I was looking for a project.

So I have the car and have been getting bits together to do it up and put it back on the road.

My dilemma is that we have done really well with our racing this year and have picked up some new sponsors and moving up to the JDS next year and I really need to focus on building 1 car instead of lots of small projects.

So the car is a cat c repaired 1998 (r reg) pre face lift ek9 it's a race base model so came with the basic 1.4 interior. Mileage I've been told was sub 90k which seems legit from the info I have.

The spec is a bit random as its essentially parts I had at work.

Airwalker front bumper
Seibon carbon bonnet
Bomex (mugen rep) spoiler
Zeal coilovers
Adj rear cber arms
Momo steering wheel
Omp RS PT bucket seat with proper rails the seat is almost new and cost £300
The hubs/brakes are 4x100 as all of my wheels/brakes etc are 4x100 and this was logical for me.

That's the basic chassis, I have replaced all the wings mirrors bumpers etc with freshly painted items and the whole shell will have been mopped.

Engine wise i have rebuilt the b18c4 block, which is forged 12:1 pistons, lightened and balanced crank, new rings, new bearings, new water and oil pump and new belts. Head is a type r unit. Power wise it was 210bhp with 144ft/lbs
It will have a 421 manifold and 2.5" system built and fitted when I come to sell and I will tune the motor on Neptune.

Gearbox is a nice short box with long 5th using a combination of oem parts inc stock honda LSD.

Problem is I have no idea how to price it.

It's a cat c shell with 4x100 hubs and non genuine parts. However it's a rust free tidy example with some nice bits fitted and would make an ideal track car.
I will put a years mot and 6 months tax on it when it's done.

What is it worth when I finish it?

pictures of the condition of the paintwork/bodywork would also help
3500 sounds right

Thats not bad, I will get pics up, but it is very clean/straight etc, The repair that was done is very good and panel gaps were all fine.

I best get it finished then.
