New one fitted, feels loads better!

Think I got my monies worth from the old one:shocked:

While removing my Mugen CAI this afternoon I noticed the front drivers side torque mount has seen better days too. Should I just order a Spoon set of 5, even though I have a new rear OEM mount? or just replace them with OEM?

I vote silicone for both engine mounts and boobies! Might as well get some quality silicone and fill the other mounts while your at it.

best off uprating them all,i wouldnt be too concerned with discomfort:nice:
i have both uprated mounts and the etd and comfort is not an issue
if your looking for comfort then an ek9 as a car isnt for you jugz:nice:

i just got some from US ebay, all 5 for just over 100 pounds.

then added a ETD, car feels much more solid, even turn in and accelerating out of a corner is more instant.

i've just fitted a full set of spoon mounts there ok, you can feel abit more vibration in the car but not a lot.

the car defently feels better, but my old standard mounts were knackered

i opted for the full oem engine mounts. i think they are more than enough for the road and light track sessions.
my rear engine mount was recently replaced and it looked exactly like yours sandwiches!:(

welcome to the club mitch:nice: it's been a few months since having my Spoon mounts fitted and i still have good things to report! if only there was no vibration @ idle :D

I've just ordered a full set of Spoon ones. £240 inc del. I would have preferred to go OE but it's far too expensive. They wanted £120 just for the two front torque mounts, the others two were £75+ !!

It doesn't make sense, why are uprated Spoon mounts cheaper than OE.

Wish I did this before fitting a new rear OE mount :/

es inserts in OE mounts work well if yours arent to damaged to start with , cheap too at £30 a set from funky power

the rear mount tends to transmit most of the unwanted vibration, but it's not something that bothers me personally. I went with a prothane set and just installed the rear inserts and that alone already made a significant difference in how it reduced the torquing of the motor. From a cost vs. performance standpoint, it was well worth the money.

i tink my engine mounting is dying right??
it has a line across n weird thing is, some brownish liquid is coming out of it :swt:

tis is the right side of the engine, not the gearbox side. (ek)
