Ek9 power gains

Ari ye my mate said it to me but like ya said I'd like to see a few other people do it to be sold. Just to more bits so and I guess she's ready for a map :) I have a neo can't wait get rid of it when have new ecu

Make sure you let us know how it goes.
ESP if you use the k20 injectors

Use Rdx injectors with a FPR if you can. OK they're "a bit" overkill but I noticed my car was runing smoothier and gained a few hp/tq almost everywhere (ectune remap). My AFR values are much more constant than with OEM B16a2 injectors.

Concerning the skunk2 IM which one are you talking about ? Because one of them is very similar to your OEM manifold.

You should get an OEM manifold ported and polished with a spoon style throttlebody and an ELR airbox. FC design belgium makes the ELR airbox (around 500€) but you need a huge amount of space to install it, move your radiator and modify the front frame of your car. it's expensive and a real pain to fit it but definitly it breathes a lot and worth it. I remapped a friend's EG6 this week, the old intake setup was ITR airbox + K&N + ARC intake chamber and we went from 13 AFR before to 13.8-14 AFR from 6k RPM to the rev limiter.

I must be the one on here starting this k20 injectors idea recently :))

I actually first got the idea of using k20 injectors from a guy on here who was breaking his EK9 and was selling his engine with k20 injectors. This prompted me to start doing some research online about the differences between B series and K20 injectors. Seems like K20 injectors spray pattern is better than the B series injectors giving better fuel atomisation apart from being bigger in cc. I was still skeptic of the idea until my tuner actually suggested the idea without me mentioning anything as he had just mapped an ek9 with k20 injectors with positive results in mid range torque. So i just got myself a set of K20 injectors and had them fitted together with a remap of course and actually felt the improvement. It's not seat slamming mid range torque improvement but i could feel the car pull more lower down the revs which impressed me. I was on standard B series injectors and a map at the time so i could actually make a before and after comparison.

I should stress though that i do have an AEM V2 EMS which in my opinion is one of the best ECU's compared to other popular ECU's like Hondata. It has endless features and functions that might have exploited the potential of k20 injectors more than if I had a Hondata or Neptune chipped ECU. There could be a possibility that k20 injectors would not improve mid range torque as much as an AEM ECU would thus not being felt much. This is just a hunch of mine though but there is only one way for you guys to find out.....just go for it and report back with the results :)
