hey I have ek9 ctr and I want to do k swap.
I understand that dc/eg subframe make the life easy with the swap but I don’t now a lot.
1. What parts I need to replace.
2. If I want to buy a coilovers what to buy a dc/eg coilovers or ek9 coilovers.
Please help me.

Parts Required for KSWAP

I made this file last year to help my friends KSWAP Their cars as i have spent over £10,000 buying all branded parts when there was alot of parts i could of cheap out on. Dont be a mug and edit this saying that you did it, This was done in my free time to help out, not to make money. Example...

Hey, maybe you don’t understand me,
I have a Ek9 and I want to do k swap,
The problem is that I need to replace my subframe to dc/eg.
Can anybody have a solution for me( if to replace part or just replace just bushing) to fit this subframe
 
as i know you dont have t replace the subframe , the ek9 one works just fine.
 
The subframe of the ek9 are good as dc2/eg subframe for k swap?
 
to be honest is the first time i've read that ek9 subframe is not good for kswap. To be sure lets see what people who have done it ,what will say.

It’s not that ek9 subframe not good, just the subframe with the ekk1 make the engine very much close to the bumper and don’t have very much place for the radiator.
And I understand that have a problem with the angle axle alignment.

The ek subframe with a kswap sits the engine closer to the radiator, This can cuase it to come in contact with the radiator and also the driveshaft would also be in an angle causeing them to pop out of the gearbox or even snap or cause constant damage to cv joints etc.

Its best to use dc,eg,mb subframe and correct other parts that assoicated with this subframe
