Mayb down to the 2.5" piping on the 9
 
Sorry just an idea. You may be right on the cam profile then mayb its the higher compression on the 9???

well my ek9 cam's should be in soon so will see if that makes a difference to the noise level.

also should have 4-2-1 dc sports header in about a weeks time to get rid of that 4-1 that makes my car sound like a scooby

awh that means i now have to wash my car lol :)

the spoiler should be on my car this weekend still not painted the bottom half yet but want it all done this weekend. the type R grill is on and painted so will get the pics up
 
great!!! Its actually very impressive how a simple spoiler and grille make a difference on an ek4. It really gives it the jdm look

ye your right makes them look hard core lol. want to get a set of JDM square plates to help it along the way to.
 
Vey good quality i'm always buying plates from them for all my cars bikes over the last 4 yrs or so.
 
i was bored at the weekend so it was back to diy. iv allways wanted to know what my car would look like with a blue lip on the wheel and never really seen my wheel black with the blue lip so i took a chance and painted them. i dont think it looks as good on the pics as it does for real and still not sure if its what i want. the way i look at it is if you dont try you will never find out lol

just need to get my finger out and get the ek9 spoiler on just the bottom half painted
 
just picked up my new header tonight from ryan its a dc sports 4-2-1 and the de cat so that all my exhaust system sorted out now. no more scooby noise lol. the parts have not even done 1000 miles yet and got them for less than half price

i finally got round to fitting my ek9 cams with the help of my mate john this weekend after having them for about 7 months lol. everything went so well there was no problems and the car started first turn of the key. it was that sweet you couldnt even tell if the engine was running so very happy with that.

i also done away with my air con

also fitted my dc sports 4-2-1 header aswell. the fitment is awsume got told by a few people that they hang low but they are wrong. this header sits nice and tight under the sump i would say better than the oem. de-cat was fitted to

so now i need to let the cams exc bed in for a bit then its off to crail to see if they have made any difference. i was hopeing to get a high 14 sec 1/4 but that was with the gas flowed head but will be happy if i beat my best time of 15.309
 
Do the cams not need setting up then??? Fuel ect ect. Think i quite like the wheels pics are not very good to much sun. I think people ment the 4-1 DC sits low not the 4-2-1. I'd be suprised if that what they ment. I have been thinking bout swapping the cams while i wait for my B18 but not sure if they are worth it. How does it drive now with the mani? Scooby gone? I'm still waiting for my greddy one. Looks like a 2.5 in budy??? Right i'm rambling now look sweet!

ye to get the most out the cams it will need a remap its hard to tell if they have made any gains im not expecting loads from them by them self the most i thing you will get is 0.3 sec on the 1/4. but still need to let them settle in. im away racing on sunday so will find out. ye the header is a 2.5 the car sounds really good now no more scooby noise and its not to loud with a nice rip to it. car drives so smooth now with the new cams and header more torque
 
well had my car at crail raceway a few weeks back it was pissing off rain and my clutch gave up to. so my mate was selling his exedy stage 1 clutch and fly wheel for a good price and it has only done a few hundred miles
