scooby like! well funny enough my Mugen 4-1 replica frm ebay sounds like that too!! i did read once somewhere that its was due to un equal tubing... well glad to hve the Vibrant 4-2-1 on its way
can unequal tubing on manifold affect engine in any way? or simply loss of power...
like 'Boozer_Matt' mentioned DC2 black Recaros r nice option for u... my UKDM EP3 seats look fab on the EK however they do sit a bit too high for my liking!! brill if ur not vry tall tho
'lumek4' post some pics of ur interior, as u reckon they differ frm normal EK4 models... maybe cos its a 99-00 model... my m8s '00 EK4 has diff material (tougher in black) on door cards & seats...
btw: G/L on ur 14's...
im not to sure about the effects of the tubing length on performance because top end i did notic the gains but bottonm end was pants there was hardly anythin there.
Well my mate had this manifold same as what we have. and with full system inc decat, air intake intake mani and type r cams made 184bhp on standard ecu settings so can't be that bad. My bottom end feels fine and my mid to high is definitly improved. Fitted spoon carbon intake today wow what a difference it make removing the upper resonator!!!

Mani side of things i had the 4-2-1 janspeed and combined with a cheap indution kit long arm decat and cheap cat back i made 178bhp out of my old eg6.
Read an article i'll try find it. Its more down to maufacture design the configuration with mani. They tested 10 diff all on honda b16 and the results where allo other the place. The myth of 4-2-1 gives better bottom and 4-1 gives better top does seem to be a myth. When we dyno'd my eg6 my mate had a ek idntical setup but with a 4-1 dc and he made 177.9???

My spon n1exhaust was the same from the ek4 to the ek9.
