I am looking to do a few tweeks to my engine, any suggestions,

This car wont be used for track racing or that

I have bought an induction kit so far and full stainless

Cheers:nice:

A little bit more bhp at the wheels nothing silly, i dont want to go uprating everything, if you know what i mean :nice:

I was thinking of cams or a b18 stroker kit

:angry2:

i see, here are my suggestions;

MF 3-4-5 gearset (best bang for the buck)

4-2-1 header with a good midpipe/muffler for a broader powerband

spoon stroker kit or B18C engine swap

aftermarket ECU (spoon)

the gearset will have a dramatic improvement over the performance of the car than an expensive header/exhaust mod, well sorted gear ratios will keep your engine in the powerband allowing it to accelerate harder.

Where will i get a gearset from?:nice:

The exhaust breathing, and gears would give you a good enough upgrade in performance from stock.

My spec, thats improves performance (not cosmetic):
Spoon Manifold
Decat
Spoon B pipe
Spoon N1
Mugen CAI
DTM coilovers
Kaiten Super Karui (4kg) Flywheel
Exedy Clutch
Mfactory close gears
Rebuilt gearbox
All Engine mounts replaced

Thanks for info :) (babyface)

How much was the flywheel £130 or that?

I seen mugen engine mounts as well...

I emailed that place u gave me website for :)

Its just trying to get everything done, and im one of these people who wants it done yesterday

Its best to call them directly as they can get busy.
I used the oem engine mounts btw.
GL with your build :)

Mfactory gearset, intake, header with collector matching the exhaust size, and a 2.5" or larger exhaust.

planning to hit the circuit? Don't forget the baffled oil pan and engine mounts/shifter bushings.

Energy suspension motor mount inserts will do in a pinch if you can deal with a little more added vibration.

Na not circuit...just want to change alot of parts to aftermarket ones

But most of them are mint.....

Gear set a good option? Anything i have to change for that then?:)

Gear set is an awesome item to get.

while you're in there, I'd change the clutch/flywheel as well. Bare minimum.... if you have some money to throw around, consider a more aggressive clutch pack LSD.

You ought to change the pilot bearing, release bearing and the input shaft bearing. The differential bearings might need to go as well.

And regardless, those items I suggested previously should be on your to-do list...as they make the car feel that much better.

was looking into the gearsets, how much do these cost and wat sort of power gains do u get?? cheers

gearsets don't add power, they only make full use of what engine power you got by keeping the engine rpm's in the powerband which results in improved acceleration. it will feel like it has gained a lot of power with the gearset change.
