On the engine front it is back together but has kind of ground to halt!

So i'm going to be running the B16B for the ring. With such short time till i go i can gurantee reliablity a bit better with the 16.

Shame but its the best thing to do with only just over 3 weeks to go.

Still got loads to do.

Change engine oil
Change gearbox oil
Fit the spoon engine mounts (the ones i can with out dropping the engine out pretty sure its all except the rear one)
Fit engine torque damper
Fit mugen baffled sump
Fit lower tie bar
 
Hmm. Rims look nice..just black on white rims don't come out very well in pictures.

Going to read some more of the thread..I skipped to the last page :)

B) get the B18C fitted soon after before she is parked up for winter.
 
Looks great :) Which is lighter, stock alloys + tyres or the slips + tyres?

Should be the slips, i haven't weighed both with tyres on.

I weighed the slips on there own at 5.7kg. The OEM rims weigh in @ 6.8kg so only 1.1kgs a corner but remember i now have an extra inch (25mm) of extra width on the rim.

After every winter when i own a honda my arches get very rusty. Going to limit driving to an absolute minimum over the salty months. May even get a lil EG to bash arround in.

did you sort out the splitter yet man?thats well repairable by the way,dont buy new parts there stupid money.im dying to know what time the 9 will set round the ring.

Ian - great work, nice to see your being a SPOON whore.... its a sh*tter that some (Pie) (Key) left that on the road, but it looks an easy repair to do over the winter...

b18 is in mate. We did it on Saturday. All good so far
