can anyone tell me some info about this exhaust. im thinkin of buying one after christmas. i dont want an exhaust that is mega loud but one with a nice deepish tone and a good screem in v-tec. iv herd a few people say they are not very loud and iv seen vids and some sound very loud lol.

is this a good exhaust or will it lose alot of top end power
 
Mine's not that loud tbh mate. I'm running a baffled Decat too and it's still not that loud when compared to the likes of a Spoon system.

There are basically two ProRacer systems... the A-Spec and the ZZ. From what I can tell the only difference is a blue tip and possibly the noise levels but I can't verify that. :)
 
the A spec is the twinloop of the 5zigen world, not loud at all,

has four silencers on the b pipe

reduced my power substancially in my ek9

so i modded it and cut three silencers out

lee how much better was the exhaust once you took out the middle boxes performance wise cose dont want to lose power. also how loud do you think it will be with the middle boxes out a dc sports de cat and dc 4-2-1 header. dont want it to be as loud as the spoon n1 and b pipe but something just under it

I noticed a very slight performance loss when going from the miracle fireball (one inline baffle... lol) to the ProRacer, defiantly wouldn't say it was a substantial difference though as a comparative to lee's comment. However the noise was much more bearable.

The way I see it cutting all those baffles out is going to make it just as loud as a spoon (but obviously not the same sort of sound).
 
i posted up pictures of why my system was not good at all but i think that it was made for an EK4

i got it brand new for really cheap

the backbox alone was worth the money i paid
 
if there aint that big of a performence difference then i think i might just buy one. the thing that was puttin me of was all they middle boxes look really restrictive. the power getter is the perfect exhaust for my car. i just dont want to pay all that money for an exhaust that aint stainless cos it just dont last long on hondas as they produce lots of condensaion. and i need a system that is going to perform fairly well
