oritee mate took the car out yesterday after doing all the work to it changed engine oil gear box oil .. to find teh clutch is slipping in itt devoed

Think you should break it............. first dibs on the Spoon Suspension
 
The engine and box are for sale so offers on those if u want them lads ... As it being b18c4d ready to be turboed
 
Nice! Not keeping the Quaife? Didn't know anything about the clutch slip, it was replaced no more than 2k ago and worked fine last time I used it. Maybe sitting for so long had developed some corrosion on the flywheel or something? :nerv:

Its ok kozy, as alex said he plans to remove the engine in order for something lower conpression anyways. I think the fact the first time the car was driven after all its mot repairs was how it was meant to be driven, especially after such a long time off the road didnt help.
Look out for the for sale threads for the engine, the box and diff etc

Yea it should have been fine, last time I used it it was managing to spin the wheels with those A048s up front so all seemed well to me. Glad you're happy with it otherwise though, will keep an eye out for the project thread!

Will keep an eye out for the suspension, you'll need to upgrade once turbo'd ;)

Haha, been after that for a while haven't you! Shouldn't be any need to upgrade it, but hopefully you'll get first refusal if they do.

Yes matey I sure have, even contemplated buying the whole car!

I have a story to tell soon about the Spoon and I , keep an eye out for it
 
After the way the car handled on sunday i shell say the suspension will be staying put on th car
