EJ6-EK4-EK9 replica transformation(Retired)

Finished up my headlight harness last night.

Here's how it look when I installed it so you can get an idea of where I ran mine.

Brought all the front suspension components to work today and got started on the clean-up process.

Looking very nice! The tuck makes a good difference!
Thanks guys. The harness was tucked before, I had done it sloppy because I was in a hurry to get my new engine on the road. Lol. I basically just went back and re-loomed the entire harness and also had to extend the passenger side for the fan switch to get it to tuck away nicely.

I got a few more parts cleaned up today. Here is a comparison of the lower strut forks.

A wire brush seems to be doing the trick for clean-up, but I think I'm gonna have to get the main subframe in to get sand blasted. There are to many little spots that I simply can't reach with the wire brush. So I'll be getting a quote and keeping you guys updated on the situation.

Nice build!!! :D looks good ;) ..

Get all your parts sandblastet! so easy and cheap!

I got all my parts sandblastet, and paintet for about 150£ in Denmark.

Thanks for the comments. Yea I'm thinking about going that route. Im also thinking about doing the POR-15 treatment. My front lower forks are original EK.
Small update: got the rest of the block off plugs that I ordered in the mail today.

underbody coating arrived in the mail, so I was able to get the front suspension all done.

Now I'm just waiting for my subframe to be finished from sandblasting, and it will also be getting the POR-15.

These arrived today.

BWR roll center adjusters/extended ball joints. These should improve handling.

Got these in the mail today.

Stop Tech stainless lines for the front. Already have some for the rear.

Also got started on the rear disc conversion. I picked up some old DA trailing arms with rear discs. They didn't have any bushings so luckily I had another set from and EK that were drums. So I'm just switching out the hubs.

Here is a pic with the drum hubs removed from the EK trailing arms.

And here I have the disc hubs being cleaned up.

yet another small update. I received my stainless steel braided clutch line in the mail today.

I went on and added it to the pile. :D

Im going to pick up the subframe from sandblasting tomorrow morning. and hopefully get started on painting it.
