EJ6-EK4-EK9 replica transformation(Retired)

Thank you sir. Build is on hold at the moment. We are slow at work so I'm low on funds. Just enjoying the car for now.

new fuel filter installed

removed rear seat brackets

at first i was just trying to grind the spot welds out but that turned out not working

drill and sharp titanium bit works best. accidentally drilled a little to far on a few spots.

picked up more dress up washers locally so my bay is now fully complete with washers lol. sorry for the heavy bay pics.

My 4 gauge ring terminals arrived this weekend so i decide to do new ground wires in red.

Got started on doing my CTR conversion on my stanley headlights.

now i am just waiting on my dupicolor metalcast smoke paint to arrive in the mail

Ive just read this start to finish. U dnt stop modding! Good on u. What a ttansformation from wat it is to now! Amazing. Good luck with the rest of the build...

Finished up my red ground wires and got them installed. There are 4 total. There is one on the transmission, underneath the intake that you cannot see in the photo.

Also finished the "CTR conversion" on my factory Stanley headlights. I'm not 100% happy with the way they turned out but it was my first time trying, so they will do for now until I can afford Genuine EK9 headlights.

finally got my hands on a EK9 cluster. ive been wanting one for a long time and found a really good deal on one and could not pass it up.

We got our first snow here so I've gotten started of phase 3 for the car. Started with pulling the engine out.

The engine bay and subframe will be getting fresh paint.

Also removed the heater core.

I still wanted my climate control to light up so i had to customize the harness for it.

The B series is faster by no camparison. the turbo D probably could have been faster but boost was never up past 5 lbs

White radiator hoses came in the mail today From Ricky "Eternal Blue 2000" Cant wait to get everything back together to see how these look with everything else.

More disassembled and cut studs off the firewall that I'm no longer using. suspension on both sides up front is removed. Almost ready to drop subframe, and start the painting process.
