I'm starting to think that the skunk2 Alpha header was a bad purchase because it has horrible ground clearance. I'm gonna have to raise the car up some. I'll also have to get a skid plate.

Got my ATI super damper in the mail. Just waiting on a Rywire oxygen sensor and car will be ready for the street.

This is a silicone filled harmonic balancer. It replaces the stock crank pulley. It is designed to absorb crank vibration to extend the life of rod and crank bearings.

Car is up and running. My first ever track event is coming up on may 2nd. Im excited to see the full potential of the car.

updates:
Picked up some Amsoil Signature Series pure synthetic 5w-30 and some titanium exhaust wrap for the skunk2 alpha. Some track preparations before the event.





messed around with some welding thermal shields on the intake.


decided to try out these VMS 10.2 mm wires off ebay...




track ready... notice the custom front lip i made from garden edging.






Track day was a success!!! The car was flawless.

I feel the same way. Lol. I didn't like the front lip until I repainted the tires.
