Civic Jordan #228 (B18C track build)

Was going to say they've shot up in price lol
I'm on the fence about the wing now after hearing about Paul's issues.

I think it's the angle if I'm honest. All fwd time attack cars run big wings that are at a pretty flat angle and I'm sure they aren't doing it for looks  not that I'm going time attack speed or that lol

But I will see how it goes on my next trackday

Give it time and you will be!
If your trying to go faster than last time your technically attacking the time lol

I think will end up with a rear wing and splitter, I was just passing on my experience.

I think the further you get up the power ladder the more neccersary aero gets. Don't forget I'm still only about 250bhp. I've also come from a background of karting, so the looser rear end and pointy front really suits me

Yeah I get you. I quite like the rear of my car as it is ATM but after adding the splitter I can see it getting lively on the faster turns.

Sorry you are right haha I thought he was talking about the spoiler mounts didn't read it correct!

Yes about £40 delivered as Jesse said I'm sure

That's not bad, may invest in some and get busy with the jigsaw when summer finally comes haha

Going to be a loads of track spec civics with splitter flying around in afew months time!
Must do mine aswell, perfect/cheap project for when the cars reliable.

When's the next trackday in this Logan?
Be interesting to see how much you can improve on the last trackday. Is a steep learning curve first couple of trackdays and you just keep getting faster with more confidence.

Hopefully June 1st mate. May try book it this weekend actually. Interested to see how much better the car pulls out the corners with the new final drive as well!

Yeah buddy! Should be a hoot round track afterwards.
All your track prep work is coming into play now!

Agree with both you guys there no other way to describe it lol

Yep.
The Nurburgring did it for me, my whole build is aimed at going fast round the ring!

So this is due an update!

Been very busy with @RyanSi

Quick run down of what has happened recently.

Front splitter has been built and put to use.

New wheels and tyres to run daily.

K-Tuned short shifter.

4.785 FD bought off @jesse888 as well.

Here are some photos of the splitter building (made out of 9mm ply)

Recently bought some Wedsport TC05. Needed a refurb but got them very cheap so couldn't say no! Got them all fixed and powdercoated with fresh stickers and fresh Bridgestone RE002 rubber.

K-Tuned Shifter fitted with polybush shifter bushes

Got the 4.785 FD fitted and some fresh MTF in the box again.

Box all built back up and in the car. Made a good difference. Can feel it has a lot more torque!

So I put the spoiler, FD and splitter to good use on Sunday. Back on track with the guys from Monster Unit on the Hot hatch day.

Car done extremely well. Managed to knock a good few seconds off my best lap time. Managed a 64 second lap which I'm happy with for only my 2nd time on track. The car has a lot more in it. Semi slicks a better geo set up and more experience and I am pretty sure I can get close to the 60second lap :D well that's the goal anyway.

Will upload some videos of my camera in the car. The first 3 session were in the torrential rain which was interesting and a good experience. After lunch the track dried up and I managed to catch and stay few high powered cars!

Booked back on track for 23rd July. So until then I will just do bits and bobs to keep me going :)

Every update this thing gets is extra epic!
Quality parts from yours truely, always a pleasure.

Wheels look spanking dude, great buy!

I'm looking at doing a 4.7 FD at some stage too... was it difficult to fit?
