I had noticed a slight misfire so decided to have a look while I was poking about in the bay. Took the dizzy cap off to find this...
Looks like the rotor arm screw had come out and had been battering about inside the cap. I was amazed it didn't run any worse!
It was the weekend and all the shops where shut so I thought I would try to save the old part. Cleaned it up and bent the contacts back.
Seems to be fine for the time being but will replace it soon.
Japfest was fast approaching and I still hadn't had the Mugen centre caps anodised. Finished cleaning these up and got them in the post.
Whent and collected them as I worried I wouldn't have them back in time for the weekend.
Again gave them a quick seal before putting on.
So moved onto giving the nine a good scrub over the two days before Japfest. 1st day was very wet... So interior cleaning was on.
Next day was much better so I could get on with a quick clay and a light buzz over with the DA.
Sealed the paint with some Gtechniq C2V3 and topped with some Zaino
That's pretty much where I am at the moment. Ill leave you with a final snap from Japfest. Cheers
