wiper blades squeeking?

this is not for my civic but my mums corsa but i'd imagine the idea is the same

she bought new wipers ages ago and it needs to be bucketing down to make them work properly or else the squeek and bounce about the window.

they are the correct ones for her car and we have tried rubbing them with vinegar, any other ideas?

You could try neat washer fluid, wipe them a few times with a cloth with neat washer fluid on there. Give it a go.

give the window a good clean with glass cleaner as the window will most likely be covered in road grime during the crap weather

make sure the wiper spindles arent won out as then the wiper wont function properly and are the blades actually new?
