What RPM do you launch your EK9 at?


I can't believe how High some of you launch.

I launch at around 4200, anymore and it spins up too easily, thats in an EE9 with a B16B and a Quaife LSD, and it never bogs down at those revs.

one of the best launches i'v done. started feeding the cluch at about 5-6 sec in. still find it hard to belive its just a 1600 under the bonnet after almost 3 years of having it. wa wa wee wa honda all the way!1!!!
 
Do you lot think launch control's help? cos if so ill put one on mine for my up and coming RWYB

i think that all road surfaces are not the same also weather is changes all time and tires are never like new everytime.

i think launch control is cool coz im lazy..:p
 
Well ill get launch control set up on my CROME then and see if it helps at all :)

man wtH?? it takes u 14 secs to reach 100 kmh and its ur best launch? with the worst launch u sould reach 100 at about 8-9 sec maximum whats wrong with ur car?

Max speed 146.6 Km/h
Max Acceleration 0.50 G's
Peak Horsepower 113HP


This was measured with my 3Gs iphone, using the application "Dynolicious"

P.S, Ohhh forgot to @ this. When I launch at 5k, once i dump the clutch on public streets the rpm will NOT drop off, but on the track it drops to 3.5k at start.
