Hi mate,

its down to personal preference really, you could spend your whole budget on just a header :)
are you looking for a complete system. - Header - Decat - Mid pipe - Back box ? are you looking to add decent power to the Setup ?
you can probably find a nice mid section and back box for your budget. but getting a full system for that price isn't going to happen.
I would suggest maybe checking gumtree out or watching the for sale section on this forum for a second hand system.

a brand new mid section and back box is going to set you back more than £400 sadly chap.

good luck with the swap :) B16A2 is a great engine

I do want to gain a bit of power from the system so what sort of system or midpipe and back box would you say to look out for not being too loud? Cheers dude yeah they are indeed!! ;)

if you can get it. Spoon N1 is very popular but probably a bit out of that price range.
i had a silencer bung for mine and it made it a little quieter.

a full system from spoon will be easily over £1000 but then they are quite loud.

I had a Mugen Twinloop on my Ek4 which was very quiet but again that will be over £400 for back box and mid pipe.

Tanabe Hyper Medalion mid pipe and back box is a mild level exhaust for noise but that's at the cheaper end but still a £550 - £600 system

put it this way a Mid pipe from Spoon on its own will be over £500 new from Spoon.

i'd watch the sales section and see what comes up ;)

Mega money :/ hahah cheers pal. Where on the forum do I find just parts up for sale? All I can kind is cars for sale and cars breaking? Cheers

There's a guy selling a full custom system on civiclife if your on there

@Rossco155 i couldn't find the for sale section on there earlier this morning. do you have to be a member to view it now ? haven't been on there in over 2 years and forgotten my login :wtf:

You could get a custom catback exhaust made up to fit your car, got my custom 2.5" stainless catback for £250 but yeah personal preference as said :)
