Hi folks,
For sale is my 56 plate Vauxhall Astra SRI 1.9 CDTI XP 150, 5 door.
I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now and used it as a daily driver, it has been a pleasure to own. Very easy car to drive, loads of torque and goes really well. Its very spacious and comfy, brilliant to drive for both short and long journeys. Been a diesel even the 150bhp model returns good mpg. I get between 38-42mpg around town and back roads and 52+ mpg on a run. Very reliable car.
As this is the SRI model it is the top spec diesel, it is installed with the Exterior pack. I have changed the alloys to 18" VXR replicas and had them powdercoated in gloss black. They are only 3 months old. The car sits spot on, its been lowered on Eibach springs which improve the handling substantially while maintaining a comfortable ride. The bodywork of the car itself is in very good condition, it has 1 or 2 minor scratches but that is to be expected from a used vehicle. It drives spot on and can't fault it. I'd say the only downside would be there are several stone chips on the front bumper and show up due to the car being black, this is to be expected with a used car.
The EGR valve has been cleaned every 4 months to keep this healthy as can go on diesels if not looked after. The alternator was replaced 12 months ago.
