[Story]
Race car AE86 developed by TRD was a dream car when Tsuchiya was young. He had chances to drive AE86 race cars tuned by other shops, but not TRD - they didn't let him.

Back in the 80s, a racer with a background like Tsuchiya was not considered "legit" - His career started off as a street/touge racer, and hadn't gone to any professional driving school. TRD, a Toyota related motorsports company just couldn't allow that kind of person to drive their race car.

After 20 years, things have changed. Toyota/TRD is hiring variety of drivers with different backgrounds, and more over, Tsuchiya succeeded as a true, professional race car driver. Now, TRD is offering Tsuchiya to drive their car.

With this car, Tsuchiya battles with other top amateur AE86 drivers - Drivers who grew up seeing Tsuchiya making legends, devoted all of their life and money to battle with him, and dreams to win.

So it's not just Drift King driving another AE86, but it's an once-in-a-lifetime event for AE86 drivers who gathered at Tsukuba that day. (*to be continued to Part 2)

Sounds sensational :nice:

I love these cars. Would chop the EK9 in for one in good enough condition

Same bud. Really hard to find these in good condition these days; bit of a shame to be honest, they are brilliant car's.
