Query about inner track rod ends

just would like to know what size inner removal tool I need to purchase as I know there's a couple sizes that can be bought for different cars. I need one to fit my EK.
 
I used a spanner to remove my inner trackrod. Not sure why everyone has an issue getting them off tbh.
 
Same here mate. Did one when I first got the car and didn't use any special tools.
 
Yeah just put it on full lock and popped it right off Iirc.
 
You can get a special tool that makes it easier but you can just use a spanner like @jesse888 and @robthedoc said.
 
Thanks, I'm just going off what people have said saying its harder with a spanner.

What size spanner should I be using ? I haven't attempted it just yet but want the correct tools so I can get it all done in a day.
 
I can only guess really but I'm thinking like 28-30mm.
 
I just got a big adjustable spanner when we did mines, came off no bother. Both sides were a lot easier than expected.
 
I use a Big pair off swan neck grips , or u can get a tool that adjusts itself wen u twist it
