MCR-VTEC II ~ The Christmas Meet
'Twas the meet before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
But it wasn't Saint Nick that burst through the door, it's a Honda Type R with foot to the floor,
And children ran screaming, escaping the sound, the roar of a Mugen, tyres screech on the ground.
You wake with a scream and jump from your bed, it was only a dream, it was all in your head,
You laugh to yourself, to the window you go, looking outside at the lights and the snow,
Something catches your eye outside the door.........MCR-VTEC burnt in the floor!
MCR-VTEC Christmas Meet ~ 16th December 2007 ~ 2PM ~ Rivington Barn ~ BL6 7SB
This is going to be the last MCR-VTEC meet of the year and everyone is welcome to join us. If you know the area you will be aware that a bike club meet around here every Sunday, we have spoken to them and they have told us there is plenty of room as we can park up on the approach to the barn and overflow car park. Aim to park at the Bottom Barn if possible as the bikes will be at the top one. "We are located on the main road through Rivington, Rivington Lane, opposite the drive way which leads you to Rivington Hall Barn. The car park is free of charge." There is somewhere to get refreshments on site (I'm not getting a round in this time, Loud) and the scenery is incredible and will make for some fantastic photos so bring your camera. Bazza from Vtec Direct will be joining us in his NSX-R, which is another damn good reason to bring your camera, that car is beautiful and I'm sure Bazza loves the attention Yes we know this meet is in December and the weather won't be the sunniest but are you really going to let that put you off driving your pride and joy?!
There will be a convoy setting off from JapanDNA Unit 6, Mosley Road, Trafford Park, M17 1HQ. If anybody from this side of Manchester would like to join us we will meet at JapanDNA at around 12:30 - 1PM, there is ample parking to the rear of the unit as some of you will know. The drive should take around 30 minutes. Please be respectful of other drivers and in particular within Rivington itself.
