How Many Litres Of Mtf Do Ek9 Take???

any one know this ? my integra took just over 2 litres I think, but in my ek civic manual it says 1.9 litres? am I going to be fine with just 2 litres or do I need 3 ? anyone have prev experience? thanks

Regular civics are 1.9L on overhaul or 1.8L just for a change.

My Ek9 took 1.9 on overhaul (on axle stands though!). :nice:
 
The S4C gear box in the ek9 has a 2.1 litre capacity ,i found this out from my local honda dealers :nice:
 
as long as you've got around 2 litres in you'll be alright mate
 
on my EK9 tranny i had to put in 2.4L before it got level with the filler plug.
 
Just make sure the car is level and fill the fill hole with MTF until it starts dripping out. Simple.
 
which plug is for topping up the gear oil theres t plugs on the side of the box is it the big plug or the smaller one

Er no it doesnt it says in the honda hand book 2.1 litres,and i asked at the honda dealers its 2.1 litres and it does NOT have to be filled till it comes out of the plug hole
