Just bought an ek9 a few days ago and it has turned me into a Honda enthusiast overnight. Its more or less standard with a Mugen exhaust and I’m amazed at the power produced from a mere 1.6 engine. Every time I get in the car it puts a beaming smile on my face!!

I bought it in Bradford and the tyres were quite low when I got it and I got a puncture on the drive home so I treated myself to a full set of Toyo T1 R’s.

Already thinking about a cheeky upgrade, what is the general consensus on Spoon modifications?

congrats on the buy mate. That's probably the best car you will ever have!! may I ask how much did you buy it?

wow thats great. I envy you. to get an EK9 in my country is a lot of trouble and costy. IN Malta you end up paying about £9000 for an Ek9 with 100000km. Some dumbass politician imposed a ludicriously high registration tax. In other words, I buy an EK9 from the uk with say £5000, and then end up paying another 60% + tax to register it for the roads. Not mentioning insurance, shipping and I don't know what else.

back to your spoon specs question. You can rest assured that every product marked with the Spoon brand is of high quality. When it comes to aftermarket parts on Honda cars, spoon is the way to go.

Thats ideal, Spoon Europe is only about 30 mins drive from me.

Thanks for your help

Spoon have some nice aftermarket parts, you should get some aftermarket parts. You can start with just bolt ons, intake, header, ecu. etc

welcome :)
