yeah a valve obviously broke, so those flat face valves were oem strength? they werent racing valves?

Yes OEM replacement! Rocket said we can use stock valves! I will do again this project with racing valves and probably with B18C bottom end!
I wrote to Omniman, he looks after this hole thing!

Retainers?? Springs ?

valve float, 9200 RPM, the valve hit the piston.

I hope you fix your car soon, but the head is no longer usable right?

RM SL light springs, retainers! The head is repairable! That's what they say!

My new project:

B18C4 bottomend with 81.5 typeR spec pistons,Cometic head gasket, my old (repaired) B16A2 ported&polished Chead, Supertech black nitride flat valves, BC3+ cams, RM SL light valvetrain, ITR lma's....
