front re bar question (strut bar behind bumper)

is there a re bar on ek9 96-98 (front strut type bar that sits behind bumper) or was the front only added on 99-00 model ? i know all get the rear re bar

ok looks like they all get the front rebar but now i need to know how front 1 is fitted, is it welded/part of chassis or bolted on so if of you 9 owners have there front bumper of by any chance could you please check for me please

thanks for the pics, i know about most of ek9 chassis difference including the above just need to know about how front rebar is fitted, heres pic

ok, looked at 96-98 ek9 and ir didnt have it but looked at some jdm tegs today and they have that exact bar so i think that it maybe mod that ek9 owners do themselves

oh and fitted the rear ek9 rebar to my ek4 today, all the holes are there for the bolts, just the 2 ends where the bar slides into has thin plates welded on on the ek4 so just removed them

Thats correct, here is a photo of my car with no front bumper, and I don't remember seeing that bar. 99.9 % Sure the ek9 doesnt have that front bumper bar. Mine is a 99 EK9 Honda civic
