ok, a friend of mine is thinking of whether to buy an EG6 or DC2, her(yes, she's a DC2 freak)main target was a DC2, but however the one and only DC2 that wanna sell isn't in a very good shape...the subframe has sustain critical damages b4 and is running on B16A, more so its a Acura Integra(the one with the 4 small little headlights) converted to a DC2.....now i've heard that EG6's chassis as same as DC2's, if that's so how bout EG8, the four door version's chassis? was it the same as the DC2?

She's now considering EG6 oso, mainly cuz its common over here and are hell damn cheap...while DC2s are rare..unless you want to find those that are totaled.... So any comments on this situation? and can someone clarify the chassis thing bout DC2 and EG6?

the eg6 and dc2 share the same chassis, whether that means the eg 4door is the same chassis, im not sure. i would probably say yes though.

hope that helps!

EG6 is a good hatch... i would choose mintest sample on sale.

If DC2 is running B16A lump EG6 B16A powered will feel faster / nippier :nice:

The DC2 has a stiffer roof structure.

well yes, i would prefer the DC2 overall... :nice:

however he did mention Integra was not in vry good condition with subframe damaged etc... plus [Acura Integra(the one with the 4 small little headlights) converted to a DC2] its a convertion!

this would make me decide towards the EG6... my view :)

I was only explaining the main difference between a EG6 and a DC2 chassis structure, the DC2 also has better bracing right behind the rear seat, the EG6 is open.

But as for which car she should get, I'd say either wait for a nicer DC2 to come along or get the EG6. Stay away from previously "messed around with" cars.

dc2 type r??? If it is, I'll go for a dc2 integra type r, but with the oem motor! B18C! tell her to be patient!
