what is the difference in bhp between these years for the JDM honda integra dc2? or are they the same?

I already sar the post which shows the difference in parts by rvm :) just wanted to know the stock bhps, if they're different after all :p

thanks,
Kyle

all of ZERO bhp:):)

imo tho i think 98spec cars always seem more lively than 96 spec thats just my opinion..

Isn't the 98 slightly more powful?
It runs the same as 96 but it has bigger wheels and bigger brakes.
Surely a 98 engine on a 96 car would be faster no ?
Also a 96 with a 4.7 FD would be a nice upgrade also.

Quoted book power is equal @197BHP, but with slightly more torque from the 98spec from the 4-1 SS manifold...

The main difference between the 96 & 98 drivetrain-wise is the Final Drive. The 96 has a 4.4 F.D & the 98 has a 4.7

This allows the 98 to get the jump off the line, but it has a taller 4th & 5th gear from memory...

All the JDM cars tend to go a bit better than the UK ITR's. The UK cars have a nasty cast manifold & restrictive CAT in comparison as standard. They are also mapped very rich too:((

I must say, in my opinion, the only BIG improvement in performance, was the brake setup, the 98 spec has bigger brakes (basically ek9 brakes)

bhp is the same, and the 98 has more torque, but barely noticeable
