Did you regret fitting your roll cage?

I have a full multi point custom cages weld in in my ek9. Don't regret it at all. Single handedly the best chassis improvements ever. The stiffness is on another level that just can't be obtained any other way. Also run R888's so cornering capabilities are amazing!

Also have a bride with a super low rail and takata's. I tucked the cage close the the a pillars too. My head is no where near the a bar so no worries when street driving without a hamlet.

You won't regret welding it in at all! ;-)

Stunning car mate it all looks amazing. I've just bought bronze te37's for mine :D

Thanks. Ye it's one hell of a track car. Cage and tyres make such a difference.

To put it into context, if not very accurate but a good comparison.
My car compared to a mates dc2. Both b18 with similar breathing mods and suspension.
His on road tyres and just a stripped interiour.
Mine caged and R888's
I was 5 secs a lap quicker around Bedford west circuit.
Again not a perfect back to back test but cornering speeds are just so much faster.

Did love theTE's, so lite, but mine were only 6.5 wide so suffered from a bit of tyre roll on a 205 R888. Have sold them now fro a wider wheel.

Tegboy that looks amazing! that website is nice, is it yours?
