Iv just completed the turbo setup on my car.

However, on the first turn off the key it cuts out. If you rev is and try to help it it just doesnt seem to rev correctly and want to die?

Its got a T3 turbo, manifold, 2.5inch downpipe. 38mm external wastegate and a dump valve. Stock injectors (i have 550cc RCs but im awaiting on clips to fit them into my standard injectors plugs as they are not plug and play)

Its being ran on a H-Tune ECU with the custom forced induction h-tune chip.

Now the chip is mapped for 550cc injectors, but im using standard until the converter harness turns up for my injectors.

As soon as you turn it on it immediately dies? Nothing on the throttle body/inlet has changed prior to bolting the turbo on?

Iv checked all VAC piping and cannot see anything unplugged. The only thing that came off was the fuel rail to put the 550's in before i noticed i needed the harness. So stock ones are all plumbed back in...

Can anyone shed some light, i'm at a loss here and loosing my patience!

See the video for a better reference to what im talking about!

Just waiting for the video to hit my photobucket..

Photobucket is processing it currently,

probably because its mapped to fuel with the 550s so its tryin to do what the standard ones cant which is feed the engine more fuel than its getting that would lead to it cutting out im no mechanic but that would be my opinion...

This has crossed my mind as it might be trying to fuel more. Although, the map isnt for driving around on. Rev limit is 6k its basically a generic basic map to allow me to drive to Eurospec and get it mapped to my car.

I wonder if its just trying to force too much fuel.

But the way the car stalls is like its a VAC leak or something else. I would almost expect the car to start but have a rough as hell idle if the map was for 550's. As the standards ones would be trying to keep up with the flow!

Hi mate - it's prob due to the ecu being mapped for the 550s . Try plugging in the stock ecu and see if it runs

Run the stock ecu and injectors with a boost pipe disconnected.
Get to eurospec and change ecu and injectors, fit boost pipe and away you go.
