5 Stud hubs

quick question, i'm 4 stud at the moment and have new brakes with 5 stud bells and its becoming a major hastle to get new centers so i'm just going to convert to 5 stud, but i wont need the front brakes, so its a waste of money spending 500 on a 5 lug conversion, is there any way you can just use the hubs themselfs? and just split the 4 stud ones then swap them?
