After 6 months of ownership and covering less than 2000 miles, i have decided to advertise for same my Mk4 Golf R32 due to its lack of use. Of the 2000 miles, more than 1000 of these were bringing the car home to Scotland from where i bought it, then taking the car to York to use as my daily driver at my place of work, then bringing it back to Scotland again. My other reason for sale is i have my wedding fast approaching and no honeymoon organised, so some of the money from the sale of this will be used to go somewhere sunny.

The car is the very best spec available from the factory, fitted with full black heated leather, sat nav, cruise control, floor mats & sunroof.

The car has only covered 79,900 miles and is still in slight use, so will most likely increase to 80k prior to sale.
Only 4 previous owners which, for an R32, is relatively low.
The car has a FULL documented/stamped Volkswagen service history. The spark plugs were done in a recent service, and the coilpack recall has been carried out with receipts. Other recent work includes a starter motor and alternator renewal.
Comes with 2 flipkeys and a third keypad - all in working order.

In my time of ownership, the only issue i have encountered was the alternator failing. This was replaced at a VW specialist in York (i had the car in York where i work) to the tune of almost £500.

The car is completely standard apart from the original wheels being painted in Audi Nimbus Grey, front number plate holder being smoothed, and a Leon Cupra R splitter being fitted. The 'flapper' mod has been done, but this is very simple to revert back to standard.

The engine was tested on a dynodynamics rolling road, where it was found as standard to have 235bhp and 230lb/ft - very close to the standard claimed 240bhp and 236b/ft.

The car drives absolutely perfect, its an absolute pleasure to drive, its a nice place to be in. The suspension is excellent, the brakes work very very well (EBC blank discs and red stuff pads), the gearbox is very slick and smooth, and the engine is in superb working order. I have really enjoyed owning and driving this car, a lot more than i expected to.

The car was MOT'd last week where it passed without a single advisory.

The wheels are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050a tyres, all have plenty tread remaining.

Bad bits - every car has them, and i am being very very clinical, probably making the car sound a lot worse than it is. It is 12 years old.
- The rear passenger side quarter is showing a very small part of rust starting to form. Its a very little amount, not through the paint, and by no means rot. I haven't had a quote to repair this , but i don't think it would be very much.
- The passenger door has a dent just below the sidetrim where it looks as though the seatbelt has jammed in where the door closes. There is a small paint chip due to this as well.
- The sunroof isn't operating correctly - it tilts slightly then closes. I am going to look into this a little bit this week should the weather get a little better, i've found a reset procedure so will try it before replacing the motor and/or sunroof
- Slight wear to drivers seat bolster.
- Not major and will be repaired before sale, the engine oil dipstick handle is broken - oil level can still be checked easily enough (new dipstick and o-ring are only £15 from VW)

Please excuse the pictures of the car being wet - it has been raining non stop since i got the car back from MOT and valet on Thursday. I will hopefully be able to get a decent camera and take some better pictures should the weather dry up.

With the car having a full VW history, the asking price of £7795 includes the car having a full service (engine and haldex) at Eastern VW Edinburgh (GTI World). I will book the car in for the service upon receiving a deposit for the car.

For £7295, the car can come unserviced. I personally don't think the car 'needs' a service because of the mileage it has done over the past 12 months.

Part exchange/swaps is an option, however would much prefer a cheaper car (approx £4k value maximum) so i can put some money in the bank. I'm getting married in 4 months and haven't got a honeymoon sorted out, so this will be contributing to it.

Private plate is NOT included - the car will return to its original registration (BK53 NHH) - The transfer process has begun.

Contact me on zero741163427zero - txt/whatsapp preferred as i work awkward shifts and don't always get a reception

The car is located in Central Scotland at my home address. Please note i will be at work in York between 12th Nov and 22nd Nov, however i could probably arrange viewings with my Dad.

Thanks for looking

Stevie
