I'm installing a shock sensor, microwave internal and external sensors and a pager system this weekend. If they come back I have a baseball bat ready for them.

I should specify and say that when I try to put into first gear the car is just creaping along (2-3mph), it's not going 15mph!!!! I know doing it at 15mph would wreck the engine. Sorry for the confusion, should have been more clear.

Not sure about the grinding noise on the clutch, will check later but I don't think there is anything like that. Someone suggested it may be the linkage in the gearbox????

Already had it checked by my mechanic and he couldn't see any problem. I think it's time I found a new mechanic!!!

Thanks for the reply. Would you have the serial numbers for them? The feckers also took my center caps, bent the top of the drivers door back and wrecked both passenger and driver side locks!!!!!!!!!

When I have my car in full right lock and traveling at about 15mph I hear a loud metal on metal knocking noise coming from the steering. I have checked the CV joint and there are no tears in the CV boot. Is these anything else it could be?
