My opinion is to use gsr with the cast log and 2871. Those manifolds are not so 'easy flow' manifolds and the type r cams should increase the backpressure a lot...

Depends from your turbo set up... Gsr cams works fine for everything but if you have a long turbo manifold and a large turbo move to type r cams.

This is true,but in reality the 1.5 bar is the main limit for a 'common' set up. T25 on b18 engine is very small and from the other hand the GT42 owner on the same engine can not wait to work with oem sleeves... A b18 with GT3071 for example, is an ordinary set up and I totally agree with your...

The limit of the oem sleeve is aprox 1.5 bar. With good tuning and a healthy turbo set up you can achieve 400Hp at fly easy. GT35R is a very good turbo but look also the 3071 or 3076. From the hot side A/R of the turbo you must choose the correct exhaust manifold. Everything from log to...

Most of the Chinese made manifolds, needs extra welding or extra joints to handle in time. Looks well and good only in eye,but deeply is a bad quality pieces. The thickness of the metal is always small comparison to a good brand ones and sometimes the welding points are not so good or deep.

From the head you cannot see any big HP difference in forced induction. You can help the exhaust system if you polish the exhaust side of the head. If you plan to move on to the big HP levels (more than 500hp) you can port the intake side too. the big difference that you can notice easy...
