sorted thanks for advice

have found this guide, could this be the problem. my iacv has one wire and it says ek runs one wire and dc2 runs 2 wire. converting wiring harness for LS/VTEC - Team Integra Forums - Team Integra

how many wires should be running to idle control valve. mines has one and the whole for another is filled with glue or something purposly so another cant be connected would this be correct. any one fancy having a look under their bonnet lol

put new idle control anyway. changed nothing. any advice where to start as i am baffled

any advice where to start trying to sort it ?

if i was to run a 12v to iacv, would it sort it ? dont wana blow anything up lol

couldnt get my head around it there lol was a 96 spec dc2 it came out of.

but if an ek4 loom is ok then they shouldnt have touched it then ?

was told they are brilliant with anything vtec. everything they touched was loose. including every engine mount. the engine near came out of the car!! so you think an untouched ek4 loom will sort my problem. would the engine not have just pluged in and worked as it is an ek4

So if i was to get an ek4 loom its just straight swap into. if so wonder why they even touched the wiring if they did. see its a night mare lol

If i was to get another loom how much wiring needs done ? the car is driving ok and vtec as it should just idle problems

yes they knew was not running right getting knock sensor fault they said it mudt be that. they left my with no induction pipe blaming it on that

have been thinkin my best bet is to get an ek4 and dc2 loom and start again.

preface lift mate completely baffling me and my mechanic mate because he dosent know what these boys have done. dont know where to start.

it hasent been right from i got the engine in. the boys that done it for me where a bunch of cowboys. they put b18c into my ek4 think they spliced the looms together. the dc2 was running fine before they got their hands in it. if i was to run a 12v straight to icv, would it do ?

thats what i thought. im getting an earth so thats ny problem. wired in wrong then ?

what power should b going to an idle control valve, only picking up an earth is this correct ?

pull of panel on left side of pass footwell, where the ecu is. thats where is it on my ek

my plug is has 2 pins mate but ive disconnected the tps sensor, if thats the one beside the iacv and its not hunting. still idling low but least its a start. any one confirm that this the tps sensor. it sort of helped because i wouldnt have checked lol

have been told its my knock sensors making the car noy run right, think its down on power too, would i be bettet getting a 2nd genuine one or new non genuine. ?
