Well a couple of nights ago some scum tried to steal my ek9. They appear to have hammered a screwdriver down in to the top of the door handle and pried it all out to the point where it has been bent outwards and up, including the key barrel etc. Could have been worse I suppose as they could...

It seems i have to get my 10w-60 oil replaced.... had a read through a post by opie oils on type r owners forum in response to a question about using 10w-60 in a type R teg. In his words..... This is 33% thicker than an sae 50, 70% thicker than an sae 40 and over 100% thicker than an sae...

I would have thought the same mate. Then I read on another thread that the thicker oil would cause it to lose a few ponies due to the vtec engine being based highly on oil pressure. Think it's just me trying to find some easy horses lol I'm sure someone on here will know better though.

Oryt sorry forgot to mention I'm from northern Ireland. The car is currently running on 10w-60 race oil. I would have thought this was a bit thick. Will this cause any performance/power issues? I'd have thought 10w 40 would have been ideal for the b18c
