Car for Sale: 1997 Honda Civic EK VTI
5k rebuilt engine, 500miles on rebuilt head.
Condition: Excellent (NO RUST)
Location: Washington ( NE38 )
Price: 6000
(Readvertised at reduced price as buyer could not sort insurance out)

Service history is right up until 12/10/2008 (115k) and after then it has been by the previous owner and myself.

As you can see the car has had extensive work all carried out with the most care, and totals much more than the asking price (this pains me :( )

The Car was resprayed approx 2 years ago and is regularly detailed using Zymol products and is always garaged unless being driven.

It has also been owned by members of Civiclife / ITR-DC2 forum over the years and this shows by the condition of the car.

I am not entirely sure of the output of the car but I would imagine it is around 220-230bhp. I will try and get it dyno'd soon.

Engine has always been warmed up properly and oil/liquids always changed.

A few months ago I had the valve clearances set when the cams were installed and the car has only done 400 miles or so since this.

28/06/2010 it had a full 4 wheel Hunter Laser Alignment carried out. (Receipt with printout of alignment)

Before I done any of the recent work to the engine, the car myself it was already an outstanding EK VTI. Which would sell all day long from 4-5k.

Total in the last year = £4800

The car needs for nothing and the price of the car taking into the above is an absolute bargain.

Bad Bits
Every car has them and I wouldn't want somebody to come and look at the car and be disappointed which im sure nobody would be!!
1. Bonnet has a smallpaint line in it (2-3inches)
2. The car has a scratch near the filler cap around 12 inches long, its not down the metal but personally I would be getting it resprayed. I got a quote from a coachworks for £200 to have this sorted but I dont have the time. I think the price reflects this though.

I really hope this goes to a good owner who will continue to keep her in good condition etc.

Yeah got it back from ricky last week, it pulls like a train, has awesome power from even 4k and is very driveable round town etc too

Also you could probably could get one but it would be standard, with 60/70k on. Which fair enough some people might want that, but mine is a completely different animal to a standard b series and it had been rebuilt recently.

In respect to your car, did it have hondataS300,Uprated valvetrain, Cams/Cam gears, EK9 Momo wheel, Blue DC5 Recaro's, Mugen Intake, Resprayed, etc etc?

I can understand your point but It would be better if you could of pm'd me this.

Hi mate, No I don't have any rolling road printouts as of yet.

There was a printout of 195bhp with EK9 Cams in, then I carried out all the recent work with the Skunk2 Pro1 Cams, tuning etc

along with
1.Mugen Airbox
2. 70mm Throttle body
3. Skunk Pro Inlet
4. DC 4-1 Manifold
5. Decat


The car pulls ALOT harder than before with the ek9 cams in, I came to the 220-230ish figure due to looking at other builds on honda-tech forums etc and this should be roughly the power.
